The closest attraction is undoubtedly the baroque Moritzburg Hunting
Castle. Besides that the region offers a lot of other interesting sights
like the Fasanenschloesschen - a rococo castle, the vineyard house, the
Meissen Porzellanmanufaktur (porcelain plant), Kathie Kollwitz Memorial,
Karl May Museum and many others.
Take a horse drawn carriage through this
peaceful area. Catch an historic old steam train ride through the
countryside. The newly renovated, historic town squares are gems to stroll
through.

Southeast of Dresden are the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also called the
"Saxon Switzerland" with great opportunities for hiking and mountain
climbing.
Equestrian enthusiasts are welcome to visit the famous Moritzburg stables
and the "Hengstparade" Horse show, every August/September.
Or you simply could go fishing, biking, horseback riding, hiking or swimming in these wonderful, nature environments.
